Getting started
Which serum is right for me — Peptide or Botanical?
The Peptide Serum is our most concentrated formula, built around five bioactive sh-peptides plus saw palmetto and rosemary. It’s for anyone who wants the most targeted ingredient story we offer. The Botanical Serum is built around rosemary leaf extract, a chlorella-and-spirulina marine blend, and ginger — a plant-first option at a softer price point. Use one or the other, not both at the same time.
Should I use the Hair Oil instead of a serum, or alongside?
Alongside. Use the serum (Peptide or Botanical) in the morning and the Hair Oil 2–4 nights per week in the evening. They’re designed to work as a pair: the serum is your daily habit, the oil is your slower weekly ritual.
How long before I see a difference?
Scalp serums are a consistency product. Plan on 8–12 weeks of daily use to evaluate the visual effect — treat it as a habit, not a one-week trial.
The routine
Will the serums work on color-treated hair?
Yes. Both serums and the Hair Oil are color-safe and suitable for all hair types.
Can I use the serums alongside my regular shampoo and conditioner?
Yes. Apply to a clean, dry scalp and style as usual. No need to change the rest of your routine.
Will the Hair Oil make my hair greasy overnight?
Applied correctly — one drop per section, fully massaged in — the oil absorbs into the scalp. Some residue is normal in the morning; wash or co-wash as usual. Standard shampoo removes it in one wash.
Is 2,000 IU the right dose of Vitamin D3 for me?
2,000 IU is a commonly used daily amount for adults. If you have specific health conditions, are pregnant or nursing, or are already taking a D3 supplement, check with your healthcare provider first.

United States only. We can’t currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses.
How much is shipping?
Free U.S. shipping on orders over $75. Otherwise a flat $5.99 standard rate.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed in 1–2 business days. Standard delivery is 5–9 business days. A tracking link is emailed as soon as the label is printed. If your package is delayed beyond 10 business days, email support@unfurlhair.com.

Ingredients and compliance
Are your products made in the USA?
Yes — all four current products are formulated and bottled in the United States.
Are they safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
If you’re pregnant, nursing, or under a physician’s care, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before adding any new product to your routine.
Does Vitamin D3 contain soy or gelatin?
Yes. The softgel is gelatin-based and the fill contains soybean oil. Not suitable for vegetarians or anyone with a soy allergy.
Why don’t you promise specific results?
Because we can’t. Supplements and topical scalp products aren’t drugs, so we use structure/function language (supports, promotes, helps maintain) — never “cures,” “treats,” or “prevents.” It’s the honest way to talk about this category, and it’s also what the FDA requires.
